Southern California Longevity Market in 2026: Imaging, Concierge Care, and Genomic Assessment

A current provider map shows three different Southern California models: scan-focused imaging, primary and concierge care, and integrated genomic assessment. They should not be compared as one product.

Review note, August 28, 2026: The cited Los Angeles Times page could not be independently retrieved during this audit. WLC therefore removed investment, valuation, academic-partnership, and market-leadership claims that depended on it. The current map below uses official provider pages and does not rank or endorse clinics.

Southern California does have multiple businesses selling longevity or proactive-health services. It does not follow that they form one standardized clinic category.

Current official pages show at least three different models:

  1. an imaging-centered assessment;
  2. longitudinal primary and concierge care;
  3. an integrated diagnostic program combining imaging, genomics, biomarkers, and physician review.

That distinction is more useful to a buyer than calling Los Angeles a longevity capital.

The location claims were checked against Prenuvo’s current location page, Elevate Health Group’s official site, and Human Longevity’s official program site on August 28, 2026.

An earlier version also listed Optima Diagnostic Imaging in Beverly Hills. Its cited domain did not resolve and a current official source could not be located during this review, so WLC removed the listing rather than infer present operations from old coverage or directories.

Model 1: scan-focused preventive imaging

Prenuvo currently lists Los Angeles at 12100 Wilshire Boulevard, Pasadena at 475 South Lake Avenue, and Irvine at 1980 Main Street.

The central purchase is imaging, not ongoing primary care. A buyer should establish:

  • which body regions and sequences are included;
  • the radiologist’s credentials and reporting process;
  • expected incidental findings;
  • whether confirmatory imaging or specialist referral is included;
  • and who assumes responsibility once a report is delivered.

Whole-body MRI avoids ionizing radiation, but that does not establish benefit for population screening. The American College of Radiology says evidence is insufficient to recommend total-body MRI screening for average-risk people without symptoms, risk factors, or relevant family history. Nonspecific findings can lead to additional tests and expense.

See the WLC whole-body MRI evidence and false-positive guide before treating a scan as a complete longevity assessment.

Model 2: primary care plus concierge and add-ons

Elevate describes a physician practice serving Glendale, Burbank, and La Cañada since 2015. Its official site lists primary and internal medicine, preventive care, chronic-disease management, concierge medicine, laboratory and cardiovascular assessments, hormone care, IV therapy, peptide therapy, and other services.

These items do not share one evidence level. Ongoing management of hypertension is a different clinical proposition from an elective peptide or infusion.

Ask Elevate, or any mixed-menu practice, to divide the proposal into:

  1. indicated primary or preventive care;
  2. optional diagnostics;
  3. approved drugs used on-label or off-label;
  4. compounded or investigational products;
  5. and nonmedical wellness services.

The clinician, evidence, consent, monitoring, and total price should be visible for each category.

Model 3: integrated assessment and continuous care

Human Longevity lists San Diego and San Francisco as its locations, so it belongs in a broader California or Southern California comparison, not a Los Angeles-only list.

On August 28, 2026, its site advertised:

  • whole-genome sequencing for $599;
  • Executive Health for $8,000 annually, including whole-body MRI, genome sequencing, cardiac testing, biomarkers, and clinician review;
  • 100+ Care for $12,000 annually, adding continuous monitoring and quarterly follow-up;
  • and 100+ Concierge for $19,000 annually, adding concierge primary care and further testing.

These are provider-published offers, not independent outcome evidence. More modalities can increase breadth, cost, and the number of findings. Ask which component is indicated, how abnormal findings are confirmed, and whether the annual relationship replaces or coordinates with existing care.

The WLC Human Longevity assessment guide examines those inclusions in detail.

How to compare the three models

Do not compare them by the number of technologies mentioned. Compare the clinical task.

Conclusion

Southern California’s longevity market is real but heterogeneous. Prenuvo, Elevate, and HLI sell different clinical relationships in different locations. Their official pages can establish availability, inclusions, and advertised price. They cannot by themselves establish that a package extends healthspan or outperforms standard preventive care.

Start with the problem to solve, then choose the care model. Use the WLC evidence checklist to verify clinician responsibility, test rationale, product status, conflicts, follow-up, and total cost.
